With this method you may design vessel Impact Baffles :

  • Find the size :
    - Lenght .
    - Height.
    - Thickness.
    - Thickness with corrosion allowance.
    - Commercial Thickness (You may write it ).

The impact Baffle shape is Semicircular .

Also you may obtain:
The minimum weld filled size: ( weld may be continuous in both sides of the semicircular periphery.)

Furthermore you can:
Check your impact baffle design changing any or some of the following parameters:
- Flow.
- Nozzle diameter.
- Internal diameter of the tank.
- Baffle height.
- Material (Stress).
- Corrosion allowance.
